I have over 45 years of sales experience and have seen or been a part of virtually every type of sales scenario known to man. I've seen both good and bad situations that in the minds eye create MANY lasting memories. I keep volumes of personal Daily Diaries of Every Sale I Have Ever Made In My Life along with how the deal was made, how much I made, the selling price, the discount (if any). I had about everything I needed to know to be able to make MORE MONEY on a particular customer next time I sold him whatever he wanted to buy from me! I'll bet there is NOT A LIVING SALESPERSON IN THE WORLD WHO HAS "BEEN THERE--DONE THAT."
I still today sell cars on a regular basis at a new car dealership somewhere in the United States just to stay "tuned-up" in selling and because I love selling the toughest product there is to sell....CARS & TRUCKS.
Here are just a few of my accomplishments:I held Sales Training contracts with both the State of Arizona and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1996 through 1999. I trained, job placed and job monitored graduates for 6 months. I never had a sales dropout. All were successful.I owned a triple division General Motors dealership for 15 years. My sales people were trained by me and our sales staff turn-over rate was near zero.I brokered new car dealerships for 6 years. When a new car dealer wanted to sell his dealership, I would list it for sale, advertise it and sell it. This was a very difficult, complicated type of sale. The commission was usually into the hundreds of thousand dollars.I owned a number of sales related businesses that I started, built them, then sold them!
